A wonderful adventure. Totally replay-able, solid mechanics, and most importantly it has been fun so far. When I dropped the words “Alpha Mimic” the looks my players gave was enough to make the entire purchase worth it right then and there.

This was a wild, fun, and clever ride to play in. Starting out, I enjoyed that we began in town where we heard rumors about this mysterious tower. All these rumors allowed each player to find something interesting to connect their character to the main hook. Going through each room of the tower was like entering into a new world. It was very much like Dr Who’s description of “it’s bigger on the inside.” From magical animals to puzzle solving to deceptive mimics to monsters to defeat, it had quite the variety of unique and innovative ideas. My favorite room was definitely the gelatinous cube room. It was incredibly innovative, clever, and honestly stress-producing as this room was on a timer. It created a good feeling of adrenaline as my fellow adventurers and I worked against the clock to solve the puzzle and make it out alive! From what I heard, this module has many different rooms rolled at random to see which ones players have to navigate. I would definitely be up to playing this again and again!
I write this review as someone who played in the game, not the DM. It took about 4-5 hours to play through.
